1.3.1.4 Check on License Plates for Trailer

Make sure the trailer has current license plates. In Virginia, if you are towing home a newly purchased trailer, you can get temporary tags for it, but you cannot load the trailer with anything (that includes the boat) while it is carrying temporary tags!
