1.3.1    Arrange for Towing of Boat on Trailer

Assuming you don't already have a car equipped to tow the trailer, arrange, with someone who does, to get the boat-on-trailer towed to your workshop location.

In negotiating terms with the seller, I talked him into delivering the boat to my home, but, as things worked out, due to his imminent move out of town, that was not possible.  So, I had to find other sources.  Eventually, one of the neighbors on my block offered to tow the boat home for me, and that worked out.  One of the things I checked out in the meantime was hiring a commercial flatbed tow truck (in part because of my worry that the trailer might not be roadworthy).  I found one, but it was going to be very expensive.  Help from the neighbor was a much better solution.
